The Neuro-psychology Internship Program is an intensive, hands-on experience designed for students and professionals looking to enhance their practical skills in understanding the brain and it's impact on Mental Health Disorders.

Topics to be covered

  • Understand how your brain and body communicate through neurons, neurotransmitters, and the central/peripheral nervous systems.

  • Learn how memory, emotion, and language are processed through key areas like the hippocampus, amygdala, and basal ganglia.

  • Explore how the brain's executive center regulates planning, decision-making, personality, and impulse control.

  • Discover how different types of brain trauma affect behavior, cognition, and recovery through a neuropsychological lens.
